You have to wonder when two companies who both say they are emphatically not competing with each other seem to be explicitly entering each other’s fields. First, we hear the most reliable rumors yet that Google is setting up a system to rival eBay’s PayPal and started google checkout  Now, straight from  Ebay. we hear that the auction it is entering the contextual ad business to give a tuff compition to google adsence , MSN and yahoo also Amazon. What’s going on? Keep reading to find out.

The announcement was made at the recent eBay Developer’s Conference in Las Vegas by Michael van Swaaij, eBay’s chief strategy officer. The program is supposed to go into beta mode this month. It’s called AdContext, and if you want to try it out, you need to be an eBay affiliate and sign up for the program. As near as I can tell, though, you don’t need to have been an eBay affiliate for any particular length of time before applying for the AdContext plan.

Business Process Outsourcing :

Business Process Outsourcing firm ICICI One Source (I-One source) will open an on-shore delivery centre in Northern Ireland, in a move that will mark its presence in European continent.

The company would invest about four-five million pounds in setting up outsourcing center in Northern Ireland, creating around 1,000 jobs over the next two years, I-One Source MD and CEO Ananda Mukerji told reporters here on Tuesday.

The investment, supported by Invest Northern Ireland (INI) is expected to deliver over 28 million pounds (US$51.5 million) in wages and salaries to the local economy by 2008.

The centre will be fully functional by July, he said.
